SonnyBoy has been singing since a young boy.

His music is soul-felt; any person who has seen SonnyBoy perform can sense this. He has a distinctive voice and style that is compared to Joe Cocker with sex appeal. One major influence in SonnyBoy’s singing is who he grew up listening to, John Fogerty. This is why “Born on A Bayou” is the only cover that SSX performs. Unlike a typical cover, SSX twisted the melody and changed the style to a unique remix. He says, “When the people watch the show, I always give them my best. I want them to not only hear and see, but feel the passion that I feel when I sing.” Mission accomplished!! Not to mention making the ladies go crazy!
